North Italia taps into Formula One Miami Grand Prix with Fan Fest activation

Restaurant brand creates dolce vita experience at racing’s off-site location after SXSW inaugural event

North Italia, the 38-unit casual-dining concept, tapped into the Formula One Miami Grand Prix May 3-5, providing racing fans with an off-site experience.

The concept, created by Fox Restaurant Concepts in 2002 and expanded under the ownership of Calabasas Hills, Calif.-based Cheesecake Factory, conducted a similar event in 2023 at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

At the Miami event, North Italia participated in the Racing Fan Fest at Wynwood Marketplace, providing samples of the restaurant’s food and offering a miniature racing experience. The event also featured chef’s demonstrations and free signature drinks.

North Italia, which has four restaurants in the immediate Miami area (Aventura, Brickell, Dadeland, and Fort Lauderdale) plans its 39th opening at the end of May in Ballantyne, N.C.
