GLENDALE Calif. IHOP Corp. said it has hired Michael J. Archer away from T.G.I. Fridayâ€™s U.S.A. to assume the vacant presidentâ€™s post at Applebeeâ€™s International, effective May 27. Fridayâ€™s has yet to name a replacement for Archer, who served the Applebeeâ€™s archrival as president and chief operating officer.
