Editor, NRN: We wanted to express our sorrow for the loss of Jack Hayes. He was a great man and a wonderful asset to our industry. Jack’s passion for our industry came through in everything he did. Every time I met Jack I came away a better person. Our memory of Jack at the home office is of his first visit in 1998, when we were just beginning to build our chain of restaurants.
