Benihana introduces October meal deals

Benihana has introduced a new October Chef’s Special — a five-course limited-time offer of a Hibachi Shrimp and Chicken for Two meal, for $36.

The Japanese-theme restaurant chain is also unveiling a Hibachi Tuna Steak for One October limited-time offer, which includes five courses for $21.75.

The meal-for-two offer includes hibachi shrimp and chicken grilled with mushrooms and sesame seeds, onion soup, salad, a hibachi shrimp appetizer, mushrooms, hibachi vegetables, homemade dipping sauces, steamed rice and green tea.

For solo diners, the sesame-crusted hibachi tuna steak special is paired with tomato, avocado and edamame in a white balsamic sauce, onion soup, salad, a hibachi shrimp appetizer, homemade dipping sauces, steamed rice and green tea.

The meal for two is offered at all U.S. Benihana restaurants except those in New York City and Hawaii. The solo-dining offer is available at all of the chain’s restaurants except those in Salt Lake City, New York City and Hawaii.

The limited-time offers coincide with the official start of the sake-brewing season.

Miami-based Benihana Inc. has 96 restaurants nationwide, including 63 Benihana restaurants, eight Haru sushi restaurants, and 25 RA Sushi restaurants. It also has an additional 18 franchised Benihana restaurants in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Other chains have this year rolled out multi-course, fixed-price limited-time offers, such as the $15 Seafood Feast offered by Red Lobster, which is owned by Orlando-based Darden Restaurants Inc.
