Chick-fil-A adds new drinks to kids' menu

ATLANTA The Chick-fil-A regional grilled-chicken chain has expanded its children's menu with the addition of four beverages and a chicken item from the concept's main bill of fare.

The new beverages include Milk Chugs, plain and chocolate milk served in a mini-jug-like container, and apple juice. In addition, kids can now choose from Hi-C and lemonade, which previously were offered only on the core menu.

Also added to the Kids Meal menu from the core menu are two- or three-count Chick-n-Strips.

Chick-fil-A said it recently started offering a free Table Topper stick-in-place placemat for infants. Some restaurants also added dispensers of individual sanitizing hand wipes that parents can use to clean their children's hands.

"Expanding and improving the Kid's Meal menu is part of our ongoing efforts to provide flexible options for families," said Steve Nedvidek, Chick-fil-A's senior manager of store marketing.

Chick-fil-A operates a system of more than 1,300 restaurants in 37 states.
