COPPELL Texas JMC Restaurant Distribution, a division of CiCi’s Pizza, has hired Bob Fulks as director of purchasing. Fulks succeeds Robert Manning, who left earlier this year after 11 years with the company.
Fulks most recently held a similar position at Togo’s Eateries Inc. of San Jose, Calif. He also has led purchasing teams at Pizza Hut, Starbucks and Papa John's.
The company said that given continuing uncertainty in commodity prices, Fulks would focus on stabilizing unit costs and preparing the department for the future growth of the pizza buffet concept.
JMC was founded in 1990 to support CiCi’s restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It now serves 650 restaurants in 30 states through three distribution centers in Dallas, Atlanta and Richmond, Ind.
