CKE sets Jan. as deadline for Carl's, Hardee's oil change

CARPINTERIA Calif. CKE Restaurants Inc.'s Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants will switch to a trans-fat-free cooking oil by next January, officials announced Wednesday.
