BETHESDA Md. Travel services concessionaire HMSHost Corp., a division of Autogrill S.p.A., has extended its contract with casual-dining pizza chain California Pizza Kitchen at airport locations across the United States for five more years.
The agreement calls for the development of additional CPK ASAP restaurants and kiosks at airport and travel plaza locations, with the first one scheduled to open at Oakland International Airport in Oakland, Calif., later this year. Bethesda-based HMSHost and the 207-unit, Los Angeles-based CPK chain, currently operate 16 ASAP restaurants at airports across North America. They first entered into a development agreement in 1996.
