Darden to expand Seasons 52

ORLANDO Fla. Darden Restaurants Inc. said it would debut its first Seasons 52 restaurant outside of the Southeast with a new unit scheduled to open next spring in Cherry Hill, N.J.

The new restaurant in the city's Cherry Hill Mall will be the eighth unit of the grill and wine bar chain.

Aredevelopment of the Cherry Hill Mall began in 2007 and includes plans for new upscale retail stores and a Bistro Row, where Seasons 52 will be located

“Cherry Hill is recognized as a retail hub for southern New Jersey," said Stephen Judge, president of Darden’s Seasons 52 division. "The city and Cherry Hill Mall’s commitment to revitalization have attracted new high-quality retailers to this dense residential area, making this site a natural choice for Seasons 52.”

The Seasons 52 concept debuted in 2003. The chain has units in the Florida cities of Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach Gardens. It also has stores in the Buckhead and Perimeter areas of Atlanta.

Darden Restaurants, based here, operates more than 1,700 restaurants across all of its restaurants brands, which also include Red Lobster, Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, The Capital Grille and Bahama Breeze.
