Domino’s joins chains offering online ordering

ANN ARBOR, Mich. Domino's Pizza is now offering online ordering in Spanish or English for delivery from the majority of its domestic stores.

Customers may request delivery in advance for specific times on specific days, view the full menu while deciding what to order, save favorite orders to speed future transactions and use online ordering coupons.

Domino's, the nation's second-largest pizza chain, joins rivals Pizza Hut and Papa John's in having online-ordering capability. The company and franchisees operate more than 5,150 stores in the United States.

“While the majority of our customers still prefer to place their order over the phone, we predict that by 2010, 50 percent of all orders will be placed through digital channels,” said Rob Weisberg, vice president of precision and print marketing.
