Firehouse Subs has promoted Doug Reifschneider to the new position of vice president of marketing for the 488-unit chain.
Reifschneider had previously served as marketing director for the Jacksonville, Fla.-based Firehouse Subs since 2006.
Firehouse made several other promotions in the marketing group, including Kristen Majdanic to director of brand marketing, Brittany Johnson to regional marketing manager and Matt Olsen to digital marketing manager.
Reifschneider will oversee the Firehouse Subs system marketing funds, develop recommendations for marketing programs, supervise agency of record Zimmerman Advertising, lead a marketing team of five employees and analyze consumer behavior.
"Throughout their tenure at Firehouse Subs, they've helped the brand reach sales goals that have broken through company records and rocked our industry,” Don Fox, chief executive officer of Firehouse of America LLC, said of Reifschneider and Majdanics in a statement.
