IHOP adds flavored coffee for holidays

GLENDALE Calif. IHOP is tapping into America’s caffeine addiction with new flavored coffees for the holiday season.

Using its signature International House Roast Coffee, a 100-percent Arabica blend, the family-dining chain is offering sweetened coffee drinks in four flavors: Swiss Mocha, Irish Cream, Hazelnut and French Vanilla.

All of the new coffee drinks are topped with whipped topping and served in “extra-large” mugs. Prices start at $2.49, IHOP said.

“Flavored coffees are a delicious treat that set a festive tone for the holidays,” Carolyn O’Keefe, IHOP’s senior vice president of marketing, said Monday. “IHOP has long been loved for premium hot fresh coffee, and the new International House Roast Flavored Coffees provide a craveable twist that pair well with all of IHOP’s menu items.”

IHOP, a subsidiary of Glendale-based DineEquity Inc., has 1,433 mostly franchised locations in 50 states.
