Whitewater Wis. Toppers Pizza based here, a franchisor of upscale pizza delivery restaurants, has selected as its corporate standard point-of-sale system the Vision line by Intura Solutions LP of Arlington, Texas.
"In the testing stages we reviewed several different POS vendors. Intura revealed itself to be a perfect fit for our unique concept," Toppers president Scott Gittrich said of the Vision bundle featuring integrated credit card processing, accounts receivable management and mapping functions. "We need a POS system that can 'do it all' and is completely intuitive for our team members to operate."
In a related development, Intura officials said Toppers Pizza, with more than a dozen restaurants systemwide and several more in development, is evaluating Intura Enterprise. That product is a Web-based corporate communications portal and data warehouse package, with disaster recovery capabilities, targeted at multiunit operations.
