Krispy Kreme is rolling out four Halloween-theme donuts called “Krispy Skremes” as a limited-time offer this month.
The special doughnuts are Jack-o-Lantern, Chocolate Iced with Halloween Sprinkles, Spider Web and Pumpkin Spice Doughnuts.
"Pair one of our wickedly tasty Halloween and yummy pumpkin spice doughnuts with a cup of our delicious new coffee brew for a sweet end to a frightful evening of Halloween fun," said Ron Rupocinski, Krispy Kreme corporate chef.
Toppings and fillings for each of the doughnuts include:
• Jack-o-Lantern: A pumpkin-shaped donut wearing a mask of orange icing and a jack-o-lantern face
• Chocolate Iced with Halloween Sprinkles: A doughnut with orange and black sprinkles
• Spider Web: A chocolate-iced doughnut with cream filling and a web of white icing
• Pumpkin Spice: An old-fashioned cake doughnut made with pumpkin flavors and spices and finished with Krispy Kreme's Original Glaze
The Jack-o-Lantern, Chocolate Iced, and Spider Web doughnuts are available until Oct. 31, while the Pumpkin Spice doughnut will be offered until Nov. 27.
The chain is also encouraging customers to submit Halloween family photos to its “Krispy Skremes! Halloween Family Photo Contest” at www.KrispySkremes.com. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
Krispy Kreme Halloween doughnut assortments are also available from Oct. 26–31 at participating grocery stores.
