Local, virtual global tours added to Digital Signage Expo

LAS VEGAS A tour of noteworthy local digital signage installations, as well as a virtual global tour of such deployments, are part of the educational program for Digital Signage Expo 2008, to be held Feb. 26-28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The three-day international conference and summit will feature such keynote speakers as Mike Hiatt, director of in-store media networks for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., who will address, "The Past, Present & Future of the Nation's Leading Retail Media Network," and Andrew Lippman, associate director of MIT Media Lab, speaking on, "The Digital Life: Living the Future." Representatives of retailer Circuit City, manufacturer Frito Lay, improvement center giant Home Depot and technology research specialist Forrester Research will be among the other presenters or panelists involved in the 30-session educational program.
