Maggiano's LTOs highlight Italian wine harvest

DALLAS Maggiano’s Little Italy has launched a limited-time menu to coincide with the grape harvest at wineries in Italy.

The Italian Harvest menu at the 42-unit division of Brinker International here is paired with wines from southern Italy. Maggiano's will offer the menu through Sept. 24.

The menu includes: prosciutto-wrapped shrimp with a white-wine sauce with leeks and tomatoes, $12.75 for lunch and dinner; sausage rigatoni with a tomato-wine sauce, $10.75 for lunch and $15.50 for dinner; chianti-braised beef with mushrooms, peas and tomato-wine sauce and pappardelle pasta, $12.95 for lunch and $17.95 for dinner; and halibut meurette with an asiago cheese crust and finished with a white-wine and butter sauce, herbs, asparagus, red onion and mushrooms, $15.25 for lunch and $25.50 for dinner.

For dessert, the menu features a stacked chocolate peanut butter bar with hazelnut mousse and blackberry-caramel sauce for $7.25.
