MFHA JOINS WITH CORVIRTUS TO START TRACKING DIVERSITY DATA

CRANSTON R.I. —The Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance will begin collecting diversity data from its member companies and program participants to better gauge diversity efforts throughout the industry.

MFHA has partnered with the human resources firm CorVirtus in Colorado Springs, Colo., to assess and evaluate the industry’s progress in improving the diversity of its workforce, management, suppliers and customers. The firm will develop online self-assessments for restaurant operators as well as create surveys for students who participate in MFHA’s Showcase of the Stars events—a program intended to interest minority students in hospitality careers. —The Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance will begin collecting diversity data from its member companies and program participants to better gauge diversity efforts throughout the industry.
