N.Y. chef Boulud signs deal to take DB Bistro to Miami

NEW YORK Daniel Boulud has signed an agreement with MDM Development Group of Miami to open a location of his DB Bistro concept in that city. —Award-winning chef-entrepreneur

The modern French-American bistro, scheduled to open in 2009, will be part of Metropolitan Miami’s Met 2 tower, a high-rise commercial and hotel complex developed by MDM and MetLife. —Award-winning chef-entrepreneur

“I think [Miami diners] will appreciate what DB Bistro is all about,” Boulud said, “casual dining with a very market-driven menu that focuses on the quality of fresh ingredients…in a contemporary and easygoing setting.” —Award-winning chef-entrepreneur

The New-York based Boulud operates Daniel, Café Boulud and DB Bistro in Manhattan, Café Boulud in Palm Beach and Daniel Boulud Brasserie in Las Vegas. —Award-winning chef-entrepreneur
