Pizza Hut franchisee deploying Speedlink

News

FORT WAYNE Ind. After beta testing new enterprise-management functionality in SpeedLine Solutions' SpeedLink software, executives at 45-unit Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne based here say they believe the refined package will boost unit-level fortunes.

"Importing this data into our accounting package and producing the reports we need will help us run our business more efficiently," said Kevin Espy, director of information technology for the Fort Wayne operator. "Our goal is to use the SpeedLink data to improve our operations, from reporting on how certain coupons have worked in different locations to speed of service comparisons."

Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne will use SpeedLink Enterprise 3 to aggregate transaction, employee and inventory data from the store level, officials of Lynden, Wash.-based SpeedLine said. They said that pizza companies can host SpeedLink at their own offices, with no subscription fees.
