Concern about possible contamination by salmonella prompted supplier Tanimura & Antle to recall a single lot of bulk and wrapped romaine lettuce, some of which was sold to foodservice.The romaine in question has a lot code of 531380 and was sold in head form and not as a pre-washed and pre-cut so-called “ready-to-eat” bagged product.
