SEATTLE Starbucks Coffee Co. said it plans to eliminate the use of artificial trans fats in foods and beverages in company-operated and licensed stores in the continental U.S., Alaska and Canada by the end of the year.
Starbucks said it made the decision after eliciting opinions from several recognized health and nutrition experts.
