Starbucks recalls coffee mugs

SEATTLE Starbucks Corp. has recalled about 167,000 coffee mugs sold in stores, warning that the plastic handle could detach when the container is filled with hot liquid, potentially causing burns. Starbucks has received 23 reports of mug handles falling off, including nine that resulted in minor burns.The 14-ounce mugs, manufactured in China, are white and printed with the Starbucks logo, with a black plastic handle and a stainless-steel base.
