IRVINE Calif. Taco Bell has added the Extreme Cheese and Beef Quesadilla to its Big Bell Value Menu – the first quesadilla to grace the quick-service chain's value menu.
Priced at about $1.29 and available for a limited time, the new item features a blend of cheddar, mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses; nacho cheese sauce; and seasoned ground beef.
In support of the new menu item, Taco Bell launched the Extremely Cheesy Challenge on its website, www.tacobell.com. Participants can test their cheese knowledge by answering trivia questions. Respondents are entered to win one in 10 chances to receive a year's supply of Taco Bell, or $250 in Taco Bell Bucks.
