Tavistock Restaurants buys Sapporo

EMERYVILLE Calif. Multi-concept operator Tavistock Restaurants LLC has acquired the single unit Sapporo Restaurant in Scottsdale, Ariz., in a $1.7 million deal that closed Dec. 22, the company said last week.Known for sushi, teppanyaki and inventive cocktails, the 10-year-old Sapporo was owned by Scottsdale-based Sapporo Restaurant Group, which filed for bankruptcy reorganization in June.
