Villa Enterprises buys The Office for $4.7M

The Office Beer Bar & Grill chain has been sold by CB Holdings Corp. to Villa Enterprises Ltd. for nearly $4.7 million, according to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Villa Enterprises submitted the winning bid of $4.675 million for the seven Office locations in an auction.

CB Holdings, which also operates 20 Charlie Brown’s Steak House restaurants and 12 Bugaboo Creek Steak House outlets, had filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection Nov. 18.

CB Holdings, which earlier had closed 29 Charlie Brown’s and 18 Bugaboo Creek Steak Houses, is owned by Trimaran Capital Partners.

Morristown, N.J.-based Villa Enterprises is a multibrand operator with more than 320 company and franchised outlets in 37 states and overseas. It operates such concepts as Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s, South Philly Steaks & Fries, Black Horse Tavern, and Casa Java.
