Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has teamed up with Coca-Cola for the casual-dining brand's 40th anniversary. Also this week: HotSchedules, AmRest Holdings, Cavendish Farms, The Catfish Farmers of America, Pernod Ricard USA, The Century Council, Barrie House Coffee Co., Uno Chicago Grill and Ocean Spray Cranberries.

LEBANON, Tenn. -- Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is serving Black Cherry Coke in limited edition contoured glasses to help the chain commemorate its 40th anniversary. The 22-ounce glasses, which are imprinted with the Cracker Barrel and The Coca-Cola Co. logos, are available for purchase at $2.99 each. Black Cherry Coke will be served for a limited time and garnished with maraschino cherry and refilled free of charge. Also available during the celebration will be the chain's signature Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake.

DIEPPE, New Brunswick -- Cavendish Farms, a member of the Irving Group of Companies, debuted the Cavendish Culinary Creation Centre and Canada's Smartest Kitchen, the research arm of Holland College's Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The 12,000-square-foot, two-story facility will offer such services as food concept development, testing and pilot-line production. The Creation Centre includes a state-of-the-art pilot production line with scalable food-processing equipment.

AUSTIN, Texas -- AmRest Holdings' Applebee's division said it will use HotSchedules' web-based scheduling and restaurant labor management solution. AmRest, which operates restaurants in Central and Eastern Europe, has 104 Applebee's outlets in the United States. The Applebee's locations also use the Hot Schedules Digital Logbook.

JACKSON, Miss. -- The Catfish Farmers of America have launched a campaign in support of a federal measure that would require that all imported catfish be held to the same health and safety standards as imported beef, poultry and pork. The U.S. Department of Agriculture inspects all meat and poultry products sold in this country. Seafood is inspected by the Food and Drug Administration. Last year the FDA inspected only 2 percent of all imported seafood, according to the Government Accountability Office.

PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Pernod Ricard USA, a premium spirits and wine supplier, said next year it would rejoin The Century Council, a distiller-supported, nonprofit group focused on fighting drunk driving and underage drinking. Pernod Ricard had withdrawn from The Century Council in 2006 because of disagreements over tactical executions and administrative procedures. The company will continue its "Accept Responsibility" campaign.

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Bill Conn, who most recently was with Elliot Associates, was named vice president of foodservice sales, national and chain accounts at Barrie House Coffee Co. An 18-year veteran of the foodservice industry, Conn has held a number of posts in executive search, sales and management. Barrie House is a family owned and operated coffee manufacturing and allied product distribution firm.

WEST ROXBURY, Mass. -- Uno Chicago Grill has teamed up with Ocean Spray Cranberries to develop dishes for the 200-plus-unit casual-dining brand's fall menu. Several of the new menu selections are accented with sweetened dried cranberries including Kabocha Pumpkin Soup, Power Salad with Goji Mix, Crunchy Chicken Wrap, and Whole-Grain Brown Rice.
