NORWALK, Conn. -- Diageo, the global alcoholic beverage company, recognized Earth Day and its commitment to the environment by launching initiatives at two of its North American facilities. The company's bottling and packaging plant in Relay, Md., has introduced a series of projects that eventually will reduce carbon emissions by a total of more than 670 tons per year. DOYLESTOWN, Penn. -- SICOM Systems Inc., said it has expanded its relationship with Burger King Corp. as an approved point-of-sale supplier. SICOM will now distribute its products to BK restaurants in the United Kingdom. The POS systems company is an approved supplier for BK locations in North and South America and the Caribbean. The company named Andrew Falcon, the former chief executive of the recently acquired C&M Fine Pack, executive vice president of business development for the combined entity of D&W. Fine Pack.
