The Emeril Lagasse Golf Classic event raises scholarship funds for students studying in the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University.
Each year four students are chosen (one from each campus) to receive the Emeril Lagasse Endowed Scholarship Fund. The generous support of individuals and organizations in the foodservice, hospitality and restaurants industries have made a profound and lasting impact on the lives of students pursuing their dreams of attaining a culinary arts education. This year the event raised over $468,000 and was attended by 116 golfers in Newport, RI. Email emerilgolfclassic@jwu.edu for information on next year’s 10th anniversary celebration.
