A look at what's new on NRN.com

When we relaunched NRN.com nearly a year ago, we promised you there would be more to come.

And more there is.

During the past few months we’ve worked on numerous improvements to the most-trafficked site in foodservice that we hope our readers find engaging, entertaining and informative.

At NRN.com we live and breathe news — all day, each day. That won’t change. Our 11 editors and five web editors make up the largest staff in restaurant B2B media, making it possible for NRN to be everywhere, covering what is most important to your business and the industry. We’re first to cover breaking news, we attend events as exclusive media partners, and we span the country. Our new website enhancements will only improve NRN’s ability to deliver you news and information.

Reporter’s Notebook: Our new staff blog will bring you insights, anecdotes and business bites our editors pick up from interviews with industry sources and time spent in the field. With an average tenure of 15 years, we know this industry and we’re eager to expand our dialogue with readers. I’ll also be discussing what I see and hear throughout the industry, both online and off, in a new column.

Video: While the printed word is near and dear to my heart, there is nothing like watching and listening to an executive discuss company strategy, a chef roasting whole hogs or rising stars speak about their journeys. NRN.com has a new and improved video platform that showcases exclusive videos as well as those from our partners and around the Web. It will become your one-stop video shop.

Industry Insights: We’ve collected thought leaders in foodservice to provide exclusive analytical insights under one roof, the improved Industry Insights section. We’ve partnered with the best in the business, including People Report, Healthy Dining, The Schechter Report, Sullivision and others. They will bring you their own views on new pages throughout NRN.com.

The magazine: NRN’s bi-monthly magazine is unrivaled. Each issue provides timely, differentiated articles you can’t get anywhere else. Readers have sometimes struggled to find this subscriber-only content online. We’ve fixed that. A new section will highlight the latest issue clearly, offering magazine subscribers all stories and the much-loved editor’s note from Robin Lee Allen.

We won’t stop there. NRN.com will continue to evolve, improve and listen to its readers. Please send me comments and suggestions, and most importantly, stay tuned on NRN.com.
