With more bar and restaurant guests toting along laptops and smart phones that are always hungry for more battery power, I was heartened to see that The People's Last Stand, a new bar and bistro in Dallas, has offered a nice amenity: a half dozen electrical plugs and satchel hooks at the bar.
The bistro, which caters to a younger clientele in Dallas’ trendy Mockingbird Station multi-use development, apparently knows its audience and built the bar out to meet their needs.
A side benefit: The electrical outlets tether the guest to the bar for at least one drink or more while their electronic gadgets power up. That’s one easy way to power sales.
