BK franchisee invests in total restaurant automation

News

SARASOTA Fla. To handle its point-of-sale-system, back-office-management and enterprise reporting requirements, 31-unit Burger King franchisee Furman’s Inc., based here, is deploying Infusion software and ViGo and Gemini terminals from ParTech Inc., according to ParTech.

“PAR provides the complete solution that helps our restaurant managers increase efficiency and maximize customer service,” said Furman’s president Robert Furman. “In addition, by adopting PAR’s solution, our restaurants are now able to satisfy our operating reporting requirements in the correct format.”

Sources at ParTech, a division of New Hartford, N.Y.-based PAR Technology Corp., said Infusion deals with transaction processing and helps store employees manage cash, labor, inventory and production. Its enterprise management functions and Web-based tools support multiunit data aggregation, the push down to store level from a central location of menu updates and other key data, and the compilation and distribution of unit and systemwide performance reports, they added.
