News

DOWNERS GROVE Ill. Heartland Food Corp., the operator of 216 franchised Burger King restaurants based here, has selected for use in all units Aloha QuickService point-of-sale and MenuLink back-office software from Radiant Systems Inc.

"After an extensive review of restaurant technology providers, we selected Radiant because of their integration capabilities and ability to manage all aspects of our business from the front of house to back of house to corporate headquarters," said Steve Wiborg, Heartland's chief executive and president.

Representatives of Alpharetta, Ga.-based Radiant said Heartland will begin the rollout by deploying to all units by yearend the MenuLink program for managing inventory levels and labor. They said installation of Aloha QuickService software on Radiant P1220 terminal hardware, as well as the deployment of the Aloha eManager centralized data management system, will began later this year.
