Brinker reports decline in same-store sales

DALLAS Brinker International Inc. reported Wednesday negative same-store sales results at four of its chains for the fiscal month of April, marking the 13th consecutive period of reduced year-over-year sales results at its largest chain, the 1,318-unit Chili’s Grill & Bar. Same-store sales for the five weeks ended May 2 decreased 0.7 percent for Chili’s, 2.1 percent at Romano’s Macaroni Grill, 3.5 percent at On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina and 1.1 percent at Maggiano’s Little Italy. ...
