MARYVILLE Tenn. Ruby Tuesday Inc. said Friday that it had signed development agreements with five of its franchisees to develop a total of 25 restaurants over the next several years.

Among the states in the development agreements are Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Arkansas.

“Our franchisees are great operators and developers,” said Mark Ingram, president of franchise development for Ruby Tuesday. “Their ability to open additional Ruby Tuesday restaurants will continue the growth of our brand in new and existing markets.”

Ruby Tuesday, based here, operates or franchises more than 900 casual-dining restaurants in 45 states and the District of Columbia, as well as in Puerto Rico and 13 foreign countries.
