BJ’s Restaurants Inc. blamed discounting and increased promotional activity for an expected 2.7-percent decline in same-store sales during the fourth quarter in preliminary results released last week. For the quarter ended Dec. 31, BJ’s reported revenue of about $199.8 million, an 8-percent increase from $184.8 million a year ago.
