PDQ, a six-year-old chain based in Tampa, Fla., is rolling out a new menu at its 62 locations.
It began testing the new menu at six locations in Florida, North Carolina and New Jersey on November 21 and started rolling it out on Dec. 12 at the other restaurants in those states as well as in Georgia, Illinois and South Carolina. It is slated for introduction in Alabama, Arizona, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas on Jan. 23. Prices may vary by location.
The new sandwiches are:
Pimento Crunch: Fried chicken breast, pimento cheese, Bibb lettuce, sea salt potato chips and bacon on a toasted brioche bun, $5.99
Grilled Hawaiian: Grilled chicken with teriyaki glaze, pepper Jack cheese, bacon, grilled pineapple and sweet Sriracha sauce on a toasted brioche bun, $5.99
BBQ Bacon Ranch: Fried chicken breast, cheddar cheese, bacon and ranch slaw on a toasted brioche bun, $5.99
PDQ also has introduced two new salads:
Yia Yia’s Greek Salad: Grilled chicken, mixed greens, red bell peppers, marinated cucumbers & tomatoes, Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, feta, hummus, pickled onion and lemon-chile vinaigrette, $8.29
Hail! Caesar salad: Grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, shaved parmesan, asiago & Romano cheeses, croutons and Caesar dressing, $8.29
Additionally, the chain has introduced a new line of rice bowls:
Thai Peanut bowl: Fried chicken breast, broccoli, mango salsa, peanuts, toasted coconut, rice and Thai peanut sauce, $8.49
Queso Crunch bowl: Fried chicken breast black beans, chile-lime corn, salsa verde, grape tomatoes, queso drizzle, scallions, Frito corn chips and rice, $8.49
Saucy Bowl: Grilled or fried chicken, black beans, chile-lime corn, roasted broccoli, avocado, rice and choice of sauce (sweet Sriracha, creamy garlic, Buffalo bleu, honey BBQ, chipotle BBQ, ranch, honey mustard or Thai peanut), $8.49
Five new side dishes have been introduced:
Roasted Broccoli: Roasted broccoli with sea salt and extra virgin olive oil, $2.49
Chile-Lime Corn: Sautéed corn with feta and scallions, $2.49
Tampa Beans & Rice: Black beans over long-grain rice, $2.49
Feta Tomato Salad: Cucumbers, Kalamata olives, pickled onions, tomatoes and feta, $2.49
Tots: Fried potato tots, $2.29
The chain also has introduced a new queso sauce for $1.29.
