Landry’s pulls the plug on Eva Longoria’s steakhouse (Las Vegas Sun News)
Eva Longoria's female-focused steakhouse, SHe by Morton’s, has closed less than two years after opening in a swanky shopping center on the Las Vegas Strip, according to officials with parent company Landry's Inc. Scott Marshall, SHe's chief operating officer, told the Associated Press that the company was unable to agree with the landlord on an overhaul after an upper-floor nightclub closed in 2013. The restaurant was in the Crystals shops at the Aria casino and featured a catwalk and smaller portion sizes for female customers. Mirrors on the back of the dessert menus were designed for patrons reapplying lipstick after their dinner.

Pizza Hut introduces $8.99 offer for Dinner Box (PR Newswire)
Plano, Texas-based Pizza Hut has announced an aggressive value deal for its Dinner Box bundle of a medium one-topping pizza, five breadsticks and 10 cinnamon sticks. The brand has taken the price down from $10 to $8.99 when the Dinner Box is carried out. New advertising for the deal will feature the voice of country singer Blake Shelton, who also lent his personality to a Pizza Hut campaign for barbecue-flavored pizzas this month.
