
Quaker Steak & Lube has named Fred Dreibholz chief financial officer. The appointment is effective Nov. 1.
The casual-dining chain, which specializes in chicken wings, said Dreibholz is a 20-year veteran of the restaurant industry, and most recently worked with Champps Entertainment and FLIK International.

The company said that Dreibholz also has worked with several private equity firms, including Sun Capital, Lincolnshire Management, Castanea Partners and Enhanced Equity Partners.
Dreibholz is a certified public accountant and earned an MBA in finance and accounting from Marquette University. He has an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

The motorsports-themed chain, which has locations in 15 states and Canada, said it is on target to open 13 restaurants and has inked new development agreements for six new markets.
The chain recently made its debut in the Texas market with the opening of a company store in Carrollton and a franchised location in Waco.
