The Court of Master Sommeliers

The Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) was established in 1977 to promote excellence in restaurant and hotel beverage service. It is the premiere international examining body for wine knowledge and beverage service. CMS Americas consists of only 106 individuals who have earned the title of Master Sommelier through their proven mastery of the art, science and history that inform a sommelier’s work.
