NRN celebrates 2013 Hot Concepts winnersSep 30, 2013
The restaurant industry gathered at the MUFSO SuperShow in Dallas to celebrate up-and-coming innovators during the Hot Concepts awards presentation and celebration, which honored Fresh To Order, Max’s Wine Dive, Modmarket, Piada Italian Street Food and Umami Burger.
Though the brands were recognized for their potential to open new units and carve out a new niche in the industry, their signature menu items — like Umami Burger’s Truffle Burger and the Almond Rosemary Crusted Tuna Steak from Fresh To Order — were the stars of the party. Guests progressed from station to station not only to sample the growth chains’ cutting-edge dishes and learn more about their service styles, but also to network with industry leaders attending and speaking at this year’s MUFSO conference.
