Biscuitville Fresh Southern, a 54-unit breakfast-and-lunch chain based in Greensboro, N.C., has named Kevin Bennett to the newly created position of chief financial officer.
Most recently, Bennett was director of finance at Circle K Stores. Before that, he was assistant controller of The Pantry, which operated 1,500 convenience stores and 200 quick-service restaurants before being acquired by Circle K.
“We’re delighted to welcome Kevin during this period of growth,” Biscuitville CEO Burney Jennings said in a press release. “His proven expertise and leadership in financial management will be essential to strengthening our internal capabilities, while allowing us to continue expansion in new markets. We look forward to working with him.”
Biscuitville currently operates restaurants in North Carolina and Virginia.
