NRN parent Penton names Laura Viscusi VP Food & Restaurant Group

Viscusi brings 20 years in integrated media to leading B2B group

Penton announced today that Laura J. Viscusi has been named vice president and market leader of the Food & Restaurant Group.

Viscusi will lead all aspects of the division, including strategic planning, product development, business development and sales management. Viscusi will oversee leading brands in the restaurant and supermarket industries including Nation’s Restaurant News, Restaurant Hospitality, Food Management and Supermarket News. She also will be responsible for all related group events including the MUFSO conference, FM Live and other custom events.

Viscusi will report to Dan Bagan, group president of Penton’s Food and Agriculture Group.

“Laura is both an innovator and accomplished business driver with a significant track record of expanding markets and fostering long-term growth,” said Bagan.

Prior to joining Penton, Viscusi spent more than 20 years at McGraw Hill, where she was vice president of Integrated Media and group publisher of Architectural Record Media. At McGraw Hill, she led all aspects of the architect media portfolio, including sales, product development, marketing, digital technology, user marketing and content.
