Sonic Corp. said late Thursday that Scott McLain would resign as president of the drive-in restaurant operator effective March 31. The Oklahoma City, Okla.-based company said McLain, who has been with Sonic for 17 years, would continue to work with the brand “in a transition role through the end of June 2013.” Sonic added that Cliff Hudson, the current chairman and chief executive, would assume the title of president upon McLain’s resignation.
