SALEM Ore. The 31-unit Pizza Schmizza chain has been acquired by 100-unit Figaro’s Italian Pizza, officials of the Oregon-based brands said Monday. Terms were not disclosed. Figaro’s chairman and chief executive Ron Berger said he plans to continue expanding the Pizza Schmizza concept, which specializes in thin-crust, by-the-slice pizzas, as well as Figaro’s, which offers both baked and ready-to-bake pizzas for takeout and delivery.
