CARLSBAD, CALIF. —Fredrica Thode, who was president and chief executive of the 100-plus-unit Hot Dog on a Stick chain, based here, died Jan. 13 after a long battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, company officials said.
