CINCINNATI Frisch’s Restaurants Inc. reported Tuesday that higher food costs and soft sales, particularly within its Golden Corral buffets, lowered the company’s net earnings for the second quarter ended Dec. 11 by 22.8 percent, to $2.2 million, compared with a year earlier.
