ONTARIO KFC’s Canadian operation has agreed to add vegan choices to its menu as part of a pact to end a five-year protest by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the U.S.-based advocacy group said. As part of the settlement, KFC Canada also promised to push for better treatment of the chickens that are purchased for the restaurants it operates or franchises.
