SAN FRANCISCO City vehicles in San Francisco will be fueled in part by used grease from local restaurants under a new GreaseCycle program launched by the Public Utilities Commission this week. In the recent expansion of a contract with Bio Solar Group, grease will be collected from more than 50 participating restaurants and converted into biodiesel fuel to be used in municipal vehicles.
