SEATTLE Starbucks Corp. is eliminating 600 jobs as part of a reorganization, the next step in what the coffee chain has described as a year of transformation. Chairman and chief executive Howard Schultz, who earlier this year pledged to rid the company of bureaucracy, said 220 employees have already left the company.
