Hooters of America has unveiled a redesigned unit in Houston that will serve as a prototype for future locations of its casual-dining chains.
The overhauled 20-year-old Hooters of Kirby location now features more comfortable seating, a brighter, more open interior and contemporary design.
“Hooters is exceptionally proud to reveal this design concept, reinvigorating the look and feel of our traditional restaurants without losing the essence of our iconic brand,” said Dave Henninger, chief marketing officer of Hooters of America, in a statement. “Hooters is turning 30 this year, so it seems only fitting to refresh and modernize our restaurants.”
Henninger added that the initial reaction from customers has been positive.
The 435-unit Atlanta-based chain will officially celebrate the unit’s redesign on Jan. 23 with a ribbon cutting and a party.
